ADSDEAN FARM SHOP

WE'RE PASSIONATE ABOUT MEAT!

At Adsdean farm shop we strive to produce only the finest quality meats, and alongside our own reared beef and pork we source other meats, game and produce from local and British farms (wherever possible), to ensure everything we offer originates from farms with a similar ethos to us on high animal welfare standards.

Our Butchery Shop has been open since 1970 and our small team of butchers, Sergey, Ben and young Lawrence, are all fully trained and have many years of experience with us. They are always on hand to help with advice, queries or special customer request that you may have. Whether it be an unusual cut of meat, cooking tips or party and event orders, our team are ready to help.

We're passionate about our meats, and our Farm Shop offers a wide range of to choose from. Our beef is hung for 3-4 weeks to ensure tenderness, and we also produce salt beef, pastrami, cooked ox-tongue and air-dried beef. Our free-range pork which is not only sold as joints, chops, pig cheeks, bacon, gammon steaks and half pigs head for brawn but also as sausages, smoked sausages, air-dried chorizo, salami and cooked hams.

We also have smoked chickens, air-dried smoked lamb (a Scandinavian speciality), and offer seasonal meats. In BBQ season we have steaks, sausages, kebabs, beefburgers all hand-made on the premises and in winter we have venison, mostly from our or neighbouring farms, local pheasant, partridge, rabbits and pigeon. You name it we do it!

Christmas is our busiest time of the year, and for the festive season, we sell Free-Range Bronze and Barn-Reared Turkeys (all dry plucked, game-hung and individually boxed), plus local Walderton geese, ducks and free-range chicken. Read more about Christmas Orders.

Thinking about having a hog roast for a party or event? We highly recommend Forest Hogs.

WALKING AND FARM TOURS

Customers of Adsdean Farm Shop are welcome to park at the farm during shop opening hours. You can walk up the farm to view our fields, pigs and cattle, or go further afield to local pubs or even Kingley Vale and the South Downs (dogs on a lead please).

We are happy to take small groups for farm walks, which can include looking at crops, cattle and pigs, or just local views. We also cater for butchery demonstrations.
